Hmm. Judging from the expression on the little creature's face, eternity as a peculiar gastropod-waterfowl hybrid of ambiguous sentience doesn't seem too bad. Though that might be an anatomical limit.

I hate the helicopter parent types who claim that Halloween is basically the source of all human suffering, and keep their kids inside or impose all sorts of ridiculous rules upon them when they trick-or-treat.

Go to any asylum or halfway home in any city in any state in any country. Ask to see the one who calls himself keeper of the halloween, the manager should come down from the stairs in a gorilla costume and yell at you while throwing apples at you. Bite the apple, there will be a bloody razor inside, use the razor to kill the person at the desk. Inside of him will be a screaming fetus. ask him this question; "How will they trick or treat?" the fetus will puke out a piece of candy with the unfathomable answer on it. Unwrap it.

Yeah, the paranoia over tainted candy is just that. Most of the parents come along with their kids anyway, and I don't know of anyone who gives out anything besides wrapped store-bought candy in any case.

As for the duck snail...Yeah, I get it. Gulp.

The one person who would really deserve this, of course, is tainted candy person.

See, the whole Urban Legend that candy may contain deadly child-killing poison started because of a person who actually did it...to their own children. They used "it must have been some stranger's Halloween candy!" as what they believed to be the perfect cover. To this day there is virtually no other case of a kid getting tainted treats from a stranger...but more copycat crimes involving their own parents.

Bit angry, are we Scythe? To be honest, this is the only one of your comics I don't find amusing...
Admittedly I was pretty annoyed at the whole "DON'T LET KIDS PICK THEIR OWN CANDY THEY MIGHT SPREAD GERMS" thing though (if you're going to be that paranoid, why not just isolate them from all human contact?) and we didn't have very many kids this year. If that's the reason, I will be very peeved.
