You lleft out the Colssus of New York, a movie about a dead scientist who's brilliant farther the brain surgeon and his other son Henry who put the brain in a large robot body. Before they install it, it was in an acquarium tank, totally visible.

On right, The Cybernetic Brains is a book I own but haven't committed the time to reading yet, since reviews of it are mixed. It's apparently told from the point of view of a brain who's been removed from his body against his will in order to operate a computer or something. He ends up constructing a horrific eyeball-frog to send for help, and later cobbles together a makeshift robot body to move his brain jar around, and at some point he falls in love with a woman who likewise lacks a body.

It seems like your kind of book, but on the other hand it might suck horribly.

I might be remembering it wrong too. It was a long time ago, and the episodes I've rewatched as an adult have all been from the first 5 seasons (the seasons I remember most fondly).

The last I remembered seeing Krang, he reappeared with Shredder in the B-plot to an episode and it was implied they'd come back, but the show was canned before they ever did. I might be remembering it all wrong though.

Cool, you followed my suggestion! :D There are a couple interesting guys here I had never heard of. Amazingly enough I did know about The Brain from the Planet Arous. A clip from it (the same clip in Malcolm, I'm pretty sure) was showed in a commercial in the early '90s which electrified my imagination. I spent years trying to figure out what it was from before the Internet became large and functionally searchable enough for me to succeed.

By the way, Krang did actually give up. That's part of the reason I hated those last couple seasons. But hey, he was always cooler in the comics anyway.

What is your opinion of The Cybernetic Brains by Raymond F. Jones (if any)?
